OVERVIEW

Barrister Talha Faiz Cheema is an Associate Lawyer and Barrister-at-Law, admitted to practice in 2022 and currently serving as an Advocate of the High Court of Pakistan. His specialized fields of practice include criminal litigation, white-collar crime, financial crimes, human rights, constitutional law, and public interest litigation. He holds an LL.B (Graduate Entry) from the University of London (2022) and a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Pakistan Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad (2020). He was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in November 2024. He is a lifetime member of Lincoln’s Inn, a member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (enrolled on 28 April 2025), and the Gujranwala District Bar Association (enrolled on 15 April 2023).

He has achieved distinctions in drafting, advocacy submissions, and cross-examination during his Bar training, reflecting his strong command over courtroom advocacy, legal drafting, and meticulous case preparation. In addition to his legal practice, he serves as Visiting Faculty at various universities, teaching Criminal Law and Jurisprudence. His practice is primarily focused on criminal litigation, with particular emphasis on complex criminal and white-collar crime matters, alongside human rights, constitutional law, and public interest litigation. Combining international legal training with practical litigation experience in Pakistan, he is steadily developing a strong profile in high-stakes criminal law while maintaining a commitment to principled and effective legal representation.
