OVERVIEW

Barrister Sheikh Owais holds an LL.B from Government College University Faisalabad (2017) and an LL.M from BPP University, London (2019). He further completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) in 2020 and the Bar Training Course (BTC) in 2021 from BPP University, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2022. He is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, an Advocate of the High Court in Pakistan since 2020, and a member of the Faisalabad District Bar Association since 2017. In addition to his formal qualifications, he holds advanced certifications in Lexis+ UK Legal Research and Westlaw UK. His practice focuses on criminal and civil litigation before the lower courts and the High Court, alongside experience in quasi-judicial forums and legal advisory work. He is skilled in legal research, case strategy, and client representation. During his LL.M, he completed a thesis in arbitration, with a particular focus on alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and out-of-court settlements, equipping him with a strong foundation in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration procedures.
